So many memories. So many feelings. So many experiences. So many deep conversations. When do you have to give up on it? Do you have to at all?
Once, someone told me, you can manage only around 100 people in your life. Someone has to fall out to give space to someone new. I always think about this when an emotional distance wedge a rope between me and a friend and a friend became a stranger. Or at least someone who is not in my life anymore. Continue reading
I used to wait for the 1st of January every year to replace my bad habits with good ones. It always worked for a few weeks then everything went back to normal.
At some point, I stopped expect everything to be upside down just because we leave another year behind us. The whole New Year`s Resolution is for self-improvement which should start with an appropriate approach that you can actually keep it. We don’t have to rely on it necessarily. Think about what is the best way for you and go for it.
If New Year’s Resolution gives you motivation, that’s fantastic but if you are like me and it is not an ideal option for you, here are my favourite self-improvement ideas which you can start any day of the year. Continue reading
Most of us say it is a parent, friend, author, actress, businessman or even a motivational guru or certain life coach. I always wanted to be prepared for this question but I still don`t know.
Hm… you know what? Actually, I know the answer: I don`t have a role model. I admire people who have a positive personality, hard worker, strong, and confident and don`t give up on their dreams. These motivate me and that is the point of the role model. Continue reading
It’s cold, it’s crowded, it’s not the cheapest winter program to do but still… once during the winter season, you have to go to Winter Wonderland.
This year I had been there twice – Am I going to be a fan? Hm… haven’t decided yet but it could be really fun visiting it with a friend. At least it’s a chance to hang out together for a few hours and do something different. Continue reading
I have read a blog post about self-sabotaging and it made me realize this is what I used to do!
Of course, I didn’t give a phrase to my actions at that time, but I always found a reason not to do something I really wanted to do. I always wanted to do something 100% perfect before I even started or practice it! But this is not possible – I know it now. Continue reading
This subject sneaked in my mind when I was exploring Prague in the middle of summer. I started to think about how much I have changed since I moved to London. Despite being happy for all of the good alterations that I can recall, there are a few spots that surprised me.
People are kind. It sounds ridiculous but I tend to forget that people are kind and helpful as they were in Prague and in Cyprus (review part 2) as well. I was not afraid to ask information in return to get a look or a half answer where in the end you are the one who feels ashamed to bother others. People were thoughtful enough to offer some help when they saw we struggled with something. Continue reading
I am a different person than I was in my twenties. Sometimes I was really judgemental, but for a couple of years back I have been changed a lot. Years helped me. Or situations. Friends. Experiences. Life.
But mostly London helped me. Continue reading
