We like to believe that things happen by accident. If something goes wrong, it because we didn’t try hard enough, it was someone else fault and so on.
If something goes right, we think we were lucky to get what we wanted.
Do you believe that everything happens for a reason?
Sometimes it doesn’t really matter, I would say it is important when something unpleasant happens to us.
Because we more likely get sad, unhappy and disappointed. This time is important to analyze the situation and its reasons.
- Think about something that you didn’t get but really want. Did you get something better instead? Did you learn something from it which will be useful in the future?
- Did you get something later that you expected? What have you learned until then? What extra opportunities, feelings, skills did you get during the journey?
These are only a few examples, but when something goes wrong, always think about its benefit in your life. Not everything as bad as seems at first sight.
